Instructor of the Department of 18th-19th Century Hungarian Literature at ELTE BTK. His field of research comprises history of ideas of the first decade of the 19th century, works of János Arany and Mór Jókai, and contemporary Hungarian literature. In recent years, he has been working on the critical edition of the collected works of Mór Jókai, Ferenc Kazinczy, and Dániel Berzsenyi. He is a founding member of the Dayka Gábor Society, and a former student of Erasmus Collegium. Since 2011, he has been the editor of Irodalomtörténet. He has published his academic essays in Hungarian, English and German.
